"Breakfast was cold eggs. Had to change rms as a/c not working properly. Rm was worn, cracked wood around floors, very soft worn mattress. Would not stay here again!"

"We had a really good stay at Sunday house. We have stayed there several times over the years. So close we can walk to the shops and restaurants. The back pool was nice also. I don’t care for the air conditioning because it’s so close to the vanity. The breakfast was good and a good variety. Be will stay there again. "

"Even though it’s right off a four lane highway, it’s quiet at night. It is currently only staffed remotely, but the lobby had plenty of coffee, snacks and water. Fredericksburg is roughly 20 minutes away, so lots of wineries nearby and places to eat. Cozy and just right for a weekend getaway. "

"Enjoyed the loction, for sure. Free parking was great. The fire alarm in the middle of the night wasn't great, nor was the alarm clock in the room that went off also wasn't great. Then there was a sound of dripping water. All in Room 7. The temperature level wasn't also well-regulated, but can be adjusted. I love Fredericksburg and plan on returning. This was my first stay at this hotel, and we did enjoy our time there, especially our meals at the restaurant. Not sure if I would stay at this hotel again, but I would definitely eat at the restaurant again."

"The room was perfect and clean. And staff was great, very quick to respond to any questions and needs. The property was beautiful, very quiet. Very relaxing. Only thing I'd say that would be something to improve the bed mattress overly soft and like you would sink lower so maybe a newer better mattress or box spring, it's not that it was super uncomfortable because it wasn't slept good second night but maybe a better mattress but all over we loved it and hopefully we will be back. It was a getaway for our 34th anniversary."

"We had an amazing stay at The Martinsburg! We spent two days here and it was the perfect Hill Country getaway. The cabin is beautiful, modern, and extremely well kept. You can tell a lot of thought went into the design and details to make the stay comfortable and relaxing. The location is fantastic — peaceful and surrounded by the rolling hills, yet still very close to Fredericksburg and several great wineries. Being within walking distance to Pedernales Cellars was a huge plus for us. The cabin was very clean, well stocked, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the quiet atmosphere and the beautiful views of the Hill Country. If you're looking for a relaxing place to stay near Fredericksburg, we highly recommend The Martinsburg.
