"Cumbria exceeded my expectations staff friendly welcoming helpful breakfast was excellent well supervised buffet style My Room was spacious bed comfortable well stocked tea coffee making facilities plenty of storage decor was well kept Bar and lounge relaxing Staff all round were lovely people Made my every happy one Thank you Hooe to return of and when up this way again 😃👍"

"Bath in room 231 we were stopping in was off the wall with a gap down the back of it, there was no parking available for ourselves and had to park in a public car park, breakfast and staff was great, the lift wasn’t working so elderly people struggled with all the stairs and the bed was not a king size it was 2 singles pushed together with a ridge between the mattresses"

"Staff were lovely and very accommodating when we arrived late from our hike and ensured we were settled in properly. Couldn’t ask for anything better and offered us drinks when the bar was closed aswell. Lovely staff"

"This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Amthweight Hall, the accommodation was excellent, as was the staff, they couldn't do enough for you. The breakfast was 10 out of 10, and again, very helpful, as my wife wanted her coffee a paticular temperature, and strength, they bent over backwards to make her perfect cup of coffee !! The grounds and the building, are kept immaculate. The Spa facilities, again 10 out of 10, gym, sauna, steam room, plunge pool, swimming pool and outside hot pool, plenty of loungers. Looking forward to our next stay. "
