"My friends and I had a great time at the Hamilton. We got a balcony room right on the beach, which was the highlight of our trip! Friendly staff and clean rooms. Highly recommend!"

"The ways beds have been lad out after opwning the murphy bed- is not safe. -once opened both there is a very tight space between the two at one of the corners - it caused me a bad injury on my small toe and ripped off half of my nail- Cleaning was supposed to be daily- despite letting the crew know at 12 pm that we are heading out and please try and clean, while we are gone, when we returned at 3:30 the room wasn't cleaned , when I mentioned and complained to the Manager she sounded as if it was our fault that we didn't call the FD. This took me with bit of a shock as daily cleaning was part of the routine. This was a big disappointment. They need to change the layout of their beds or do something else to prevent the injury which is a biggest safety issue."

"Perfect spot to stay in Petosky. Highly recommend, comfortable bed, quiet stay. Enjoyed the porch in the evening too. Have a great breakfast in the morning too & enjoyed the beautiful view. Friendly & accommodating staff. Will be back!"

"We had rooms that viewed the canal both times.. kept the windows opened all night so we could hear the water. Very relaxing. This will be the place to stay in we're in Cheboygan."

"The Inn is a historic site and was built in 1911 one year before the titanic sank, so there is no elevator for the second or third floors. (Beware if you are elderly or handicapped) Every room is somewhat different so it’s hard to evaluate the other rooms but ours was a corner room with lots of windows and nicely decorated with an electric fireplace. The 1911 restaurant was closed Sunday and Monday so we only ate there once. They didn’t seem to have a breakfast anymore and the restaurant was a little overpriced. There was a nice front and back porch to sit on and meet other travelers. Good place to try if you like historical old buildings."

"Very convenient and hassle-free stay. The check-in process was extremely easy and required no interaction, which made everything very convenient. The room was clean and comfortable. We also had an early departure the next morning and were able to leave before the staff had even arrived, which made the whole experience seamless. Overall, a great option if you’re looking for a clean, convenient, and hassle-free place to stay in Cheboygan."
