We needed a place to evacuate to from our coastal home during Hurricane Milton. The owners are kind and generous. We have everything we need here and were able to extend our trip a couple days since we do not have power at home yet. We are still here and enjoy the quiet now after the storm. The house is comfortable and decorated beautifully. We want to bring our kids back here during the summer for a family trip to visit the area and do some trail hiking. Very happy with how we were treated as renters.

We loved the place and the large fenced/gated in yard-It was perfect and quiet! I would suggest to guests not to walk the back sand roads down from the property, especially with their dogs. There is no doubt numerous Pitbull owners in the area. Lots of beware of dog & owner signs & I encountered a sketchy neighbor and his Pitbull about 1 mile away. This neighbor had his entire property fence wrapped in black plastic when his ferocious Pitbull aggressively tried to get through the fence and I virtually had to turn around. Although a public sandy road I would be cautious walking or running far from the dwelling. All in all it was a great getaway, and we would definitely go back. The yard and dwelling is great for gatherings if needed.
