“The towels were dirty, though they changed it the new ones were the same as old ones. Food was the worst part, nothing was available except tea and coffee. To top it off the manager was very unpleasant. About the property itself, it’s placed in a very scenic location and all we enjoyed was the nature from the room sit out. That was the good part.”

“Good place to stay in Ooty at decent price and provides complementary breakfast, but the road to this property is in very bad state and reaching here is a bit confusing. Employees Geeta and Rajshekhar are helpful and friendly.”

“Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in einer wunderbaren, leicht abgeschiedenen Atmosphäre. Es waren leider noch einige Bauarbeiten auf dem Gelände, die meist jedoch nicht störten. Man kann (gegen Aufpreis) ein Lagerfeuer bekommen und draußen Musik hören. Muß man mal abwarten, wohin sich das noch entwickelt. Zuviel wäre sicherlich der Atmosphäre abträglich. Werde ziemlich sicher wiederkommen und würde mich freuen, wenn es dann bessere Leseleuchten am Bett gibt.”

“The Ibex property has one of the best views in all of Coonoor. We visited some of the higher end hotels and found that the views did not compare to that of Ibex. The bungalow is a old heritage style, gorgeous bungalow , the staff is very very sweet and helpful, and it's very worth the price! They even provide a good breakfast, games and books on request, and gave us a little goodbye token which was so warm and loving! ”

“The property is under renovation, no other visitors were there, basic facilities like drinking water not available. Expedia should not have taken our booking considering that the property was under renovation.”

“First of all, this is not a hotel. It is a shared accommodation with independent bathrooms in each room. The rooms are very small and not clean. Washrooms were stinking and when we asked for proper cleaning, we were provided with room spray. Lot of flies in the rooms co-living with you. Kettle was not working and we even had power issues where the power sockets were not working for multiple hours. Food (breakfast) was too good and the service was nice. There is no dedicated parking facility for...

“Great location on hilltop, on the way to the highest point of Ooty (Dodabetta). Quite spacious and they have lot of activities to spend time. The best thing I like the evening tea stall that serves variety of teas to pick from with light snacks. And that was on the house! The availability of choices in liquor were limited. Food quality in buffet breakfast and dinner was OK - can be improved. We liked ala-carte dishes.”

“Nice Location. I stayed for 2 days and had wonderful experience with respect to room service and Restaurant. Travel to the resort in the rocky road is not that great. Would recommend this Resort only if the roads are laid.”

“Excellent service and very peaceful location, even though slightly steep last few 100 yards for the car. Nice view from the room and property in general. Staff and cook are very very polite. Rooms were clean and organized. Bathrooms were also clean, although slightly wet after they clean (hosts can perhaps look into this and ensure bathrooms are wiped after cleaning). This was only reason for for a 4-star rating on “rooms” (instead of 5-star rating).”
