I recently stayed at the Ramada in Sioux Falls, and I can confidently say it was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences Iโve ever had. From the moment I walked in, I was hit with a stale, musty smell that lingered throughout the entire building. The hotel feels old, worn down, and in desperate need of a deep clean and serious renovations.
The carpets were stained, the walls were scuffed, and everything just had a grimy, unkept feel to it. Our room was no better. The bathroom was dirty, with mold and mildew in the shower corners. The towels were thin and rough, and I wasnโt entirely sure they were clean. The bedsheets didnโt feel fresh, and the pillows were flat and uncomfortable.
The one โhighlightโ of this place is supposed to be the water slide, but even that was underwhelming. The pool area felt just as dingy as the rest of the hotel, and I couldnโt help but question the cleanliness of the water. There was visible grime on the pool tiles, and the overall vibe was anything but inviting. If youโre thinking of booking this place for the water slide, save your money โ itโs not worth it.
Staff interaction was minimal, and when I did ask for assistance, I was met with indifference. I understand that hospitality jobs can be stressful, but basic courtesy shouldnโt be too much to expect.
If cleanliness, comfort, and a welcoming environment are important to you, I strongly suggest you look elsewhere. This Ramada is far from what Iโd consider an enjoyable or relaxing sta
