“Lovely place to stay and conveniently located”

“The room we ended up staying in looks nothing like the photos. The window does not face the open air or the street. Instead, it faces an elevator, which is used throughout the night and makes the room very noisy. The room itself looks completely different from what was shown in the photos. This was very disappointing, even though the staff is nice, but we feel the hotel was not honest about the actual room condition.”

“Good value for money. The ladies who ran the hotel were enormously kind. The location was superb - 1 min from Diagonal metro station. The breakfast was not less satisfying than that of a 3 star hotel. Drinking water and cookies were always available. The room was very clean and cosy. The room wasn't big enough to have a desk or anything on which I could place my laptop and work, which was a little regrettable to me. The hotel doesn't have a reception, and one needs to get access to the hotel...

“This was absolutely the worst experience I’ve had during my stay in Barcelona. The nightmare started right from check-in. When I entered my room, the shower drain cover wasn't even installed. When I brought this up, a staff member acted as if it wasn't a big deal, implying that I should just fix it myself. Only after I persistently demanded action did he finally use a tool to unclog the blocked drain. His rude attitude completely ruined my mood from the very beginning. The poor service...

“There was a grocery two doors down which was convenient. We didn't have a balcony. Would have liked to have a hair dryer in the room. They needed to have some directions as to how to get to the hostel once you entered the building. Everyone was very nice and they kept our luggage until we could check in. It was quiet at night and bed was comfortable. Our room was small but nice and clean. Would stay here again.”
