Staff was very nice. The room appeared clean but the floors were not swept or washed. It looked like they only swept the open area leaving along the walls and between the furniture extremely dirty.

We stayed here overnight for the Special Olympics equestrian meet. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast space was a little small, but not a huge issue. Will definitely be back next year.

This motel is pretty basic but acceptable if you need a pet-friendly place to spend the night in Skowhegan. It's on the main drag so lots of places to get supplies, something to eat, gas up, charge the EV, etc.

A good place to stay

Breakfast was OK, but not great. The pool has a sign on it advising that it is permanently closed. The motel provides the services it should and is clean and seems safe.

There was Hannaford, Walmart and other stores nearby. The room was not very clean. Under the microwave was very gross and noticeable we didnt use it. The room for 2 people only had one chair to sit in and one desk chair, no table as shown in the photos. The walls are very thin. You can hear everything going on outside your door as well as your neighbors in their rooms. The heating unit worked fine. Given what you pay, you get what you pay for. It was cheap but i would not stay there again.

The price was right and the small room was clean. The motel is close to Walmart, which was a great convenience, and the microwave and fridge both worked fine. It was very handy to be able to park right outside the door to our room. I wouldn't recommend this for an extended stay, but for one night on a longer trip, it was perfect.

The new owner have done a remarkable renovation on this property. Room overall excellent, plenty of plugs where you need them to be. Highly recommend this property to any future travelers. Keep in mind this is an old school motel brought into the 2024 world.

It was a good clean room for an affordable price. The only issue we had was the hair dryer was mounted on the wall about a half of an inch too high to actually plug it in to the electrical outlet.
