โProbably the cleanest room Iโve stayed in.great view over the beach and sea front.The only negative would be the lighting in the en-suite it could have been brighterโ
โAt check in we were greeted and walked to our room. We were a little early for our reservation and we were allowed right in. Owner showed us around and was incredibly friendly. Other visitors told us some great hiking locations to check out. Continental breakfast laid out nicely. Beautiful view of Mourne Mountains. โ
โVery comfortable stay. Room was clean and well equipped with great en-suite bathroom. Cooked breakfast was tasty and good breakfast selections. Enjoyed lunch in restaurant before going home. Great selections on menu and well cooked. Great roast dinner options on Sunday too. โ
โJust a lovely spot, 5 minutes driving from town and the shore in Newcastle, 15 or so to some great hiking trails. Grounds are very nice and thereโs a gentle climb down to the river, a beautiful spot on the patio to sit out for a drink or morning coffee โ and the breakfast was excellent as well (I had to go for the Ulster Fry (similar to the Full English) both mornings. Wish we could have stayed longer, but hope to go back. Seems to be a holiday spot for the Irish and those from the UK, not...
โThis quaint little cottage off of the entrance to Tollymore Forest is perfect to just get away and mend your mental health. I will definitely be there again, perhaps yearly if I can afford it! Jo is easy to contact and is most helpful with everything. Thank you Jo, you are so loved ๐โ
