"The resort is very nice it’s just far from everything. You have to take a taxi if you don’t rent a car to drive around. Everything is about 20-30 minutes away from the resort. I love the fact that the pool was 24/7 and beach access as well. I wish that there were more restaurants on the resort or at least close by. I only had one issue and that was with housekeeping I had to keep going to ask for them to come and service the room I left my room for the whole day and came back and the room had not been done. So I just asked the front desk to give me fresh laundry to change my own sheets and towels. I was there from 7/3 til 7/7 and I think that was a good amount of days to have housekeeping to clean. My overall experience was great and I would return "

"Simple hotel, not fancy, even though it is in need of repair it was perfect for my family of 11. We reserved 4 rooms. Very clean, nice and comfortable beds. Very affordable, the beach was perfect, and the ferry was very reliable."

"This place is currently getting fixed and updated and needs a ton of work but we loved it. The views are amazing, amenities were great, food great, staff was awesome. Will definitely stay again!"

"We just got back from staying in the Sunset Suite at VH with our family of 4. We loved the quirkiness of the house, built in the late 18th century so it has wonky floors, but it gives it character. The 2 bedrooms are the only rooms with A/C so be prepared for the living room, kitchen and bathroom to be a lil toasty. We did ask for an extra box fan, which they kindly provided. We enjoyed hanging out at Ruff Night bar on premises and getting to know the locals. Everyone is sooo friendly! Even Victor the orange bar kitty who hangs out. There are several restaurants in the immediate walking area that were good. I would absolutely return to VH and recommend anyone to stay there. "
