"We enjoyed a room with a sea view on the first floor but struggled to get our luggage up the stairs. The room was clean and comfortable with day bed, writing desk and single chair. Good size TV and mini fridge also with tea and coffee making facilities. The remote controlled window blinds were a nice touch."

"Really nice staff - friendly and helpful. Location is good - right across from the beach so you can hear the sound of the sea from the bedroom. Room itself is tired and could do with an update. No locker on one side of the bed. The use a macerator in the bathrooms so it makes a loud noice when you flush the loo or empty a basis. We had no hot water when we were there. We were not told this but found out when we heard a staff member telling another guest. Breakfast is OK if you like the Full English or a variation of it but no fruit, cereal or yoghurt. Parking is on the street and requires payment"

"Andy and Jo are excellent hosts. They are both passionate about the Isle of Wight and their hotel. They are extremely helpful with any queries and provided excellent recommendations for local dining, facilities and places to visit. Jo’s daily breakfast was amazing and we loved her daily specials. The room was spotless, very comfortable and had excellent facilities. Great location. Parking on site was good and safe. We throughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend. We would be happy to return as very really enjoyed our stay."

"Fabulous room with all those little details missed by so many hotels and guest houses, all present. Fabulous breakfast with quality ingredients from local butchers and bakers cooked to perfection. Lovely couple that ran it too. If I had to find one complaint it would be that we couldn’t stay there any longer. This is a fantastic place to stay and I would highly recommend."
