"Another wonderful stay. We call this our “as close to a bed and breakfast” as we can still find. We love the vintage decor and antiques, and the smells and comfortable ambience that comes with it. The staff is always friendly, happy to see you and help, and love their job and serving others! Room 216 beds and pillows were excellent, clean, and the room the perfect size and our “home away from home.” We appreciated that the windows opened, so we could have fresh air, since the second floor room has no balcony. Breakfast had many delicious protein, fruit and carb options. My husband loved the biscuits and gravy, and my favorite was the cheesy hash browns. Options rotate, daily. People staying there were so happy and friendly and courteous- a reflection of the Inn itself! Remember to visit the shops right outside- the Corn Crib is our favorite! We already have another trip booked to stay here and will return again and again!"

"My wife and I enjoyed the dinning area, and the breakfast was excellent. The room was nice but smelled like cigaretts. the leg on the table was broken, but very clean. overall I would still stay there."

"The breakfast is your standard hotel breakfast but the rooms are clean and it was very quiet no screaming kids running in the hallway no potheads smoking dope playing loud hip hop music. It’s happened many times in very well known corporate hotels. This was the 3 or fourth time we’ve stayed there and will return."

"There is plenty of parking right in front of the building. Checking in was easy—you get the physical key from a lockbox using a 4-digit code. The place was pristinely clean. The lake view was beautiful, and you can enjoy it from the chairs right by the door, or from inside. My wife and I used the kayaks to explore Fox Lake, and it was a lot of fun. Even though it was my first time, it was easy to maneuver through the still water. Life jackets are conveniently kept in the brown box. There are big-screen smart TVs in the living room and in each of the two bedrooms. You can bring an HDMI device (like a laptop) to use them as monitors, or log into your own Netflix account (just don't forget to log out). High-speed Wi-Fi is also available. Although we didn't cook, the kitchen was well-stocked with cups, plates, pots, a cutting board, disposable silverware, and dish soap with sponges. We did use the provided K-cup coffee pods and the creamer in the fridge. There are many restaurants just a few minutes away. We really enjoyed our stay. I might be back with my kids in the future. Thank you very much!"
