"We visited this property as a family with two simple expectations: a clean, quiet room for a good night's sleep, and a decent breakfast. Unfortunately, the hotel fell short on both counts. The Room & Sleep Quality Throughout the entire night, there was a persistent, keeping-us-awake noise coming from the AC vent. Because we were only staying for a single night, we decided against asking for a room change. Packing up all of our luggage and moving the family to a different room—especially from the second floor—is just too much of a hassle late at night. We shouldn't have had to choose between a noisy room and the exhaustion of moving. The Breakfast Experience The breakfast service was equally disappointing, largely due to the staff. The lady managing the area seemed to be doing things completely on her own timeline. Essential items were left empty and weren't refilled. The food itself was the standard, uninspired hotel fare—scrambled eggs, biscuits, fruit, and yogurt—but it was the dismissive attitude of the server that really ruined the meal. A property can have all the potential in the world, but poor maintenance and indifferent service will completely ruin a family stay. We won't be returning."

"While the room was clean, but the door didn’t seal tight. You could see the light from the hallway all around the door. the floors near and in the elevator were really dirty. The staff was helpful. The breakfast was adequate. They had scrambled eggs, sausage,Waffles, and bread items etc… For one night, it was ok. In my opinion, The Newport area seemed a little sketchy."

"We booked this moderately priced hotel from our car as we were traveling through the area. The room rates were a little higher for this hotel than other hotels in that area along our route. We wanted a little nicer room and expected that with this hotel. After we arrived, at the front desk, I was told that I could not add our IHG Hotel rewards to the reservation since we had booked using Travelocity. The room was not the one that I booked, instead it was 2 queens instead of 1 king. On Travelocity, no queen rooms were available, so we booked a king room. Then when we arrived and entered the room it was a king, so that was a little confusing. The beds were very comfortable and made up for the confusion. The window shade was not working properly and had some small holes in it as well. The breakfast buffet was good for that hotel price range."

"We stayed at Albriggt Groove loop. Janice, the host, was so wonderful and caring. It truly felt like we were being cared for and loved by a family member. Your warmth and thoughtful gestures made our stay in the beautiful cabin even more special. The wisdom you shared and the conversations we had are something we will never forget. The atmosphere in the cabin was so warm and welcoming — we absolutely loved it. The outdoor hot tub was a highlight, and everything was perfectly arranged for us. The peaceful nature surrounding the cabin was incredibly calming and soothing. We cannot wait to come back. Oh, before I forget, thank you for the breakfast you made for us with so much love — it was so yummy and delicious. This is the ideal place to stay if you want to explore the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, as well as visit Gatlinburg and the surrounding areas. We will never forget this trip."
