옛 궁전같은 내부 인테리어
소피아 가장 중심에 위치한 역사깊은 호텔입니다. 중세궁전에서 투숙하는 기분이 들어요. 내부 인테리어나 시설은 다소 빈티지가 느껴지지만 호텔 서비스나 수준이 좋습니다. 방 사이즈도 꽤 넓어요. 최신 호텔을 기대하시는 분에겐 추천하지 않습니다. 호텔 조식이 훌륭하고 조식당에서 소피아상이 바로 보여요. 주차는 건물바로 앞 외부시설을 통과해서 호텔앞에 가능하고 유료입니다.

Beautiful hotel located in the center of the city. Lots of restaurants near by that you can walk to. Breakfast at the hotel was AMAZING! Staff was very friendly and assisted with all needs.

Great location, walkable everywhere in a few minutes. The lady at the front desk was amazing. A couple of the male staff were rude and likely need customer service training. We had a bad experience with the airport shuttle. It was late in the morning and we nearly missed our flight. And we paid EUR 40 each way (vs premium taxi or Volt rate is EUR 16). When we asked the front desk gentleman for help, he actually shrugged his arms, and then he left not to return. And we had to walk a block to find if the cab was there.

Everything was perfect and we had a 'royal' stay.Staff were very friendly and gave some toys to our kids during check in which completely made them happy. Very good location and this was one if the best stay we ever had.

We had a really nice stay at the hotel. The only thing that we can complain about is that we were not given enough information about the breakfast, gym etc. We had to specifically ask for information. But else everything was great

The property has amazing character nicely preserved from a previous era. The hot breakfast was cold, partly because of the cold plates but mainly because the food warmers were not hot enough

Every time i vist Sofia I stay at this hotel. Its historical and beautiful property connected to presidential palace. Metro entrance sits about 100 ft from the entrance of the hotel. The breakfast is awesome. Great restaurants all around the hotel.

Nice option but some improvements needed
Nice hotel but some work is needed on maintenance, cleaning, e.g., several stains over the walls, and service. I also had a room with almost zero light and view: this should be communicated in advance instead of naming the rooms as king, deluxe etc

Great location and value for money
Great location and high standard hotel for the price. We stayed for three nights. We were given a complimentary upgrade after I explained I was in Sofia to celebrate my Wife’s birthday. The room was spacious. The fixtures and fittings were high quality. The bed was very comfortable. The staff even organised a platter and a bottle of wine for my Wife’s birthday. A very attentive touch. The location was next door to Serdika metro station and walking distance to the main Vitosha Bld. and other monuments and sites in the city. Would definitely recommend.

Hotel maravilhoso. Localizado no centro de Sofia. Todos os pontos turísticos podem ser percorridos a pé, ao lado da principal via turística da cidade. Quarto ótimo, café da manhã muito bom e bar do hotel com vista da igreja e da praça. Em frente ao metrô. Tem obras em frente ao hotel. Difícil estacionar para retirar bagagens. Não tem estacionamento, mas há um nas proximidades por 18 euros/dia

Noise / Renovation works - Hotel is lovely but note that they are undergoing renovations and we were placed on the same floor on which 2 rooms right across us were being renovated. Mornings were noisy! Not what I expected for a hotel of this rating. Accessibility/cars - This place is also not wheelchair friendly as there is no cars access to the front door of the hotel. You will be asked to get off about 50-70m away from the hotel at the barrier. If you wish to get a taxi, you will be waiting in the cold the barriers on the main road. Again, a rather poor experience. Cleanliness / location - On the bright side, the hotel is clean and is very central so it is easy to walk everywhere. The rooms are kept warm at around 23-24 degree Celsius on average so crank open your windows a little if you are feeling too warm. Facilities- This place also has a gym and a in house salon, something we found out only on the last day - unfortunately no introduction to the facilities by the staff upon check in. Breakfast in the morning is nice with a good variety of food available. Overall - booked this place as a special treat and it was quite a let down. Will not stay here again.

Quality product and service
The hotel is charming. It keeps true to its historical design in the lobby, but the rooms are modern. I had an issue with noisy neighbours, and reception moved me to a nicer room so that there was no chance of it happening again. Whilst service levels were not the focus of the few places I visited, Dennislav at the reception genuinely wanted to make sure I had a restful stay.

Great location!
The staff members are nice, especially Angel who has a beautiful smile and does a great job. The room is great and well renovated, however, will be good to give guests a little instruction leaflet/user manual for operating the lights and other functions. We did not remove the DND light and the room was not cleaned for 2 days, but it was not a problem. The staff memebers are very professional. Breakfast offers excellent choices but food that is supposed to be hot was not even warm, a bit of a shame. Overall, it is still an excellent place to stay. Perfect location!

Ottima posizione, ma allo stesso tempo tranquilla. Parcheggio davanti all'albergo ( costo circa 20 euro al giorno). Buona e varia la colazione. Personale gentile ed educato. Bellissima struttura, che, tuttavia andrebbe mantenuta meglio ( ma è in fase di restauro in alcune zone). Comunque se penso a quanto speso, posso solo dire che il rapporto qualità-prezzo è ottimo.
