"Love staying here as the staff are so friendly & helpful. The cook a lovely breakfast to order every morning. The bedrooms & bathrooms are well kept & clean. Would highly recommend the charming little hotel."
"Lovely place to stay and everyone was very friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast. Room was really lovely. The only downside was that our twin beds were very noisy every time we moved which meant we woke several times during the night."
"Nice clean room, unfortunately the window lock was broken, and it was quite noisy on the Saturday night. Friendly helpful staff, adequate breakfast. Quite expensive bar."
"Was quite good but there was alot of spider webs in cupboards and was a bit itchy in bed but it was really comfy I cluding the pillows.pretty good sleep.nice that you could have a bath or a shower.we made most of the bath for our short stay as we don't have a bath at home.we did seem to have a stain suddenly appear on our bedding for some reason after housemate had been our room we thought was strange.they made the bed and put the bath Matt's neatly in the bath but they didn't empty bin which we thought was strange but all good.it was only for 2 nights.most staff was pretty friendly and sad to find that they are selling up😞.I wish them luck and hope someone who keep caring with passion to take over cos this place is a sweet gem with a really nice walk nearby.the continental which was included was okay for us but would of liked a bit more of it being continental breakfast as it was more just a basic breakfast but okay.did the job.the actual full breakfast wasn't too bad.on our first morning I did have a cup and a spoon missing from our table soo had to find another one somewhere.nice to have a TV which wasn't a bad size and felt quite happy to be staying in room at times.the blind it kinda work but was quite hard to make come down and the blind I had to use my hands to make it turn to private but we did it soo all was okay.the bathroom door was not fully working as we couldn't properly close it but enough to keep smells away soo all good.bathroom window I found hard to close."
"Set well off the beaten track among really nice gardens, not close to town, but within a few minutes drive, this a rather stately BnB. Our room was very spacious."
"This hotel is very remote, so the restaurant is essential for the stay
I had stayed here recently and recommended to my wife that we should stay this time
I sent an email 4 days before our visit to reserve a table for 7pm on the night of our stay - no confirmation came back
We arrived and checked in at 6pm -to be told that the restaurant is closed and that the chef had been unwell since 4pm
If the hotel had called us we would have gone to a restaurant during our 3 hour journey before arriving at the hotel
I hope that the chef has now recovered and well - I could not believe that there was no offer of some food on the premises - it is a very remote location, surely some pizzas/crisp/chips, maybe a microwaved lasagne for example would have been a good and fair offer -
Nothing , so we had to drive 8 miles to Narberth to find some food and then drive back
for a nightcap as the bar would only be open up to 9pm
We arrived back at 8.04pm to have a drink before retiring our room but the young ladies were locking up , wouldn'tand drove home
I think they could have at served us a bottle of wine and 2 glasses to take to our room and we could settle in the morning - as our credit card details were at reception
We have had no apology / no future discount offered due to these circumstances - so I can assure you I won't choose to stay at this hotel or recommending
it is Such a shame as I liked it the first time a few weeks ago and re booked so that my wife could enjoy with me"
"‘Quirky’ can mean many things.
Like paying for an all-you-can eat buffet that sits there getting cold until they take it away without warning quite soon after you start .
Or shelling out £240 for a room but not getting any toiletries and no warning to bring your own.
Or artwork that borders on the naff.
But it also means a hotel with character.
And a great breakfast.
And the best views on the West Wales coast.
So, if you’re up for ‘quirky’, give it a try.
Bring your own shampoo."
