It was a great experience staying there. We met Caleb and he was a complete joy to talk to and very helpful. We look forward to seeing him and staying again

Check in was a problem. Owner wasnt expecting us, no one was there. Heather was GREAT - helped with replacing fridge. I plugged in my phone and tripped the breaker, burned my plug. Heather offered to replace and offered different room. She also helped us figure out the TV. Give her an award. "Suite" was a small room - NOT a Suite - and had no screens. Loved the deck, fishing pier, beach and location.

really pretty place Staff in the evening was pleasant stairs where steep to carry my suitcase up and down Room needs updating And it was strange no one in the hotel during the day. Make sure you keep your key or you’ll get locked out of the hotel.

I love the upper deck. Don’t like three flights without elevator Rooms are ok. Yes clean but not updated. Room was stocked with water and coffee. Easy to park. Even though restaurant and bar down below very quiet

Love the spot on the water- could do better with the outdoor seating on balconies- also should have a service station open for coffee, tea, cucumber water, juice and maybe bagels & fruit or something for guests- overall another nice stay- dinner could’ve been better more attention to plating and portions-

Beautiful view from hotel, quiet, clean room, accommodating staff. Plus close to Ocean City to go to boardwalk.

The location is great, right next to a little beach and marina for families. The hotel is very clean and staff are friendly and accommodating. They really care. Parking is convenient, and adorable little community a quick drive from the ocean. The exterior is beautiful. Note: There were some quirky aspects to the hotel due to its age and perhaps limited budget from ownership. There is no elevator in this historic building and the steps are very steep. The rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors. While the hotel is pet friendly, they want $75 a night per pet.

We absolutely loved our stay at Tavern On The Bay! Joseph was so accommodating from the second we booked until we checked out. The area was very walkable and scenic and we actually got engaged on the dock next to the property during our stay! The bartenders in the restaurant were incredibly friendly and the performer on Saturday night was amazing. Would absolutely stay again!

Disappointed for my 35th Anniversary
Mold in bathroom. Very poorly decorated. Mishmash of different decors. Room up three flights of stairs. Hotel food was less than par. Restaurant managers conversations were very inappropriate.

The hotel had beautiful views of the bay and town. The town also had plenty of nice restaurants and fun things to do for entertainment .

We stayed in room 3, the shower head needs to be replace along with the slider door blinds . Very clean and very helpful staff . 3rd floor balcony was a very nice surprise . Should have instructions for the TV. Very comfortable bed and great A/C.

This Bay resort was perfect location for walkable restaurants and bars, ocean bridge walk, piers & small beach next door. The property itself has a an outside bar, amazing views!!!! Food at restaurant was delicious. Our room has its own deck to enjoy again the amazing views! Property manager was friendly and accommodating.

Joseph and the rest of the staff were very welcoming. The view from the upstairs was lovely. Our room was great (Lucky Luciano) but a word of caution, two of the other rooms were right beside a very loud outside air conditioning unit.

Everyone we encountered was very nice! A little surprised that the bartenders didn’t have the ingredients to make an espresso martini, as it is such a popular drink. Nevertheless, the bartenders were great!

The hotel was beautiful and walking distance to a beach and some great restaurants. Joseph also was super accommodating and was so nice and welcoming. We would love to come back and stay!
