"I recently stayed at Howard Johnson by Wyndham in Florence and had a great experience. The room was clean, well-maintained, and surprisingly spacious. The bed was very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly—especially important in the Carolina heat! What really stood out was the staff. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and helpful—from check-in to check-out. They made sure I had everything I needed and answered my questions with a smile. The location is convenient, right off the highway, and close to restaurants, gas stations, and stores. It’s a great spot for a stopover or even a short stay while exploring the area."

"We ended up booking this hotel at the last minute due to some security issues at our original property, and I’m honestly glad we did. From the moment we walked in, it was clear this place takes cleanliness seriously – everything was spotless. You can tell the hotel is on the newer side, but what impressed me most was how well-maintained everything appeared to be. It’s obvious they stay on top of upkeep rather than letting things slide. The front desk staff were genuinely pleasant to deal with, which always makes a difference when you’re dealing with unexpected travel changes. Location-wise, we couldn’t have asked for better. Easy highway access made getting around simple, and having shopping and dining options nearby was incredibly convenient. The hotel had everything we needed during our stay, which is all you can really ask for. Sometimes the best experiences come from the places you stumble into by chance. Would definitely consider staying here again if we’re in the area."

"Breakfast was great, rooms clean and everything was really nice, only problem we had was they had 3 elevators and only 1 worked. Having 7 floors meant it took such a long time to get to room or to leave. But other then that was a great place"
