LEGOLAND Beach Retreat

"We recently stayed one night at LEGOLAND Resort and overall had a good experience. We had originally booked one of the bungalows and were disappointed to learn they were not yet open and were transferred to the main hotel instead. While we were definitely bummed, being so close to LEGOLAND was a huge convenience and made our visit much more enjoyable. Our first room was extremely hot, which was especially challenging for me due to health issues. The staff moved us to a second room, and while the temperature was better, it still felt a bit warm. Unfortunately, the second room had a very strong cleaning-product odor that reminded us of carpet powder. The smell was quite overpowering and difficult to ignore. One bright spot was the complimentary breakfast the next morning. We really appreciated that gesture, and the breakfast itself was enjoyable. The service at both the bar and restaurant was friendly, but slower than expected. My biggest suggestion would be to refresh the main lobby. For a resort tied to the creativity and excitement of LEGO, the lobby felt a bit dated and could use more color, energy, and interactive elements to create a stronger first impression. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and loved the location. While there were a few issues with the room and service, there is a lot of potential here, and with some updates and attention to detail, the experience could be even better."

"No cash needed unless you want to tip with it…very nice stay with multiple places to eat free breakfast…..lunch and dinner is expensive but well worth it….wear comfortable shoes and clothes…..go to the parks early and the kids can swim until 9 at the hotels…..the rooms are clean but little dusty on the legos and overhead items….staff doesn’t greet you unless they have to interact with you…have to pay for parking and make sure you book with LEGOLAND resort to get proper amenities and free offers as 3rd parties don’t have the ability to give those deals…."

"I would have no problem staying there again. The staff was very nice. The bed was comfy. The charging places were convenient to the bed. I liked that the sink area was separate from the shower and toilet. That way a person can be in the shower while the other person is getting ready. Also they have a full sized hairdryer. Breakfast was tasty too! They some refrigerated snacks and microwaveable foods available for purchase in case you need a meal or ice cream. 😉"

"The continental breakfast was very skimpy, there was nothing really there. a few prepackaged muffins and some fruit but nothing to even display as a breakfast included in the stay. However, everything else was really nice and clean. The hotel staff was friendly"
