Thank you for your feedback. I am so sorry and wish you had let me know about the smell right away. I do take this seriously and want everyone to have a 5 star stay. This will happen anywhere even in your own house if water is not run down the drains in a long time so it evaporates from the drain allowing smells from the sewer to come in. If I had known I would have had you to run water down the drains. If I had known I would have done it to prevent this from ever happening. This is very common in vacation rental condos this time of year not just here. We are working to fix your other concerns. We are waiting for new shower doors to arrive but many hotels only have one shower door like Hyatt for example so this is a more common practice. I hope you will come again and enjoy a 5 star stay.

Im sorry if you misunderstood but the cleaning fee is to pay the cleaning crew and is not refundable. We have to clean each condo a certain way and cant be done by guests. You also brought extra guests than what you reserved so you were charged a small fee. This is a great value compared to a hotel where youd have to get 2 rooms. I know this is why you left a negative review. The documents we request are requested at every hotel in the USA and are for your security. They are also required by the credit card company. I do a video call with every guest to show them where their room is since both buildings have the same numbers. There was always a lot of.confusion so this prevents that and makes the check in process better. I feel our check in process is faster and can be done before you leave home.and dont have to wait in an office for 30 minutes to get checked in and can be done in 5 minutes.

I do apologize for the TV in the bedroom not working but it was damaged from a power surge and we are waiting on repair parts, however there are three tvs in this condo and it is a 65 inch HDTV so I can't move it easily, otherwise I would have changed it for a new one. We had just done pest control the day before so I told you before you arrived that I would be sending cleaning to pick up any dead bugs but you said there was just a spider on the kitchen floor and your husband threw it away so not to send the cleaning lady so I took this as it was resolved. We are on the beach and one dead bug is very common to find. We are constantly fumigating every month so I assure you there was no infestation. I do want to apologize for not having laundry detergent for you but we too are having problems getting it due to Covid however we did bring you some on your first day. I immediately sent a cleaning lady to clean anything you wanted cleaned but you told her everything was fine. I was in communication with you the entire weekend answering all your questions about the property and never did I get the feeling that you had an awful experience. In fact, you said you understood and were very pleasant and seemed like everything was fine. We always try not to have any issues but when we do we resolve them immediately.

I am very sorry you weren't happy with your stay. I'm sorry you weren't happy with the charges but they are listed clearly before paying for your reservation. The resort fee pays for the cleaning supplies dishwashing liquid, washing machine soap, sponges, coffee sugar, creamer, paper towels, internet, cable, salt pepper, condiments such as ketchup mayo mustard pickles, gas for the barbecues which is very expensive and for things you would never get or use in a hotel. I also give $10 in snacks free of charge. I'm sorry if you had to wait for me but the reservation says to reach out to me 3 days so I can get you a door code before you arrive as I didn't have your email or telephone number to reach out to you. I don't want people waiting so I want to get them checked in before leaving for their vacation. Also you say you had to pay an additional $390 but that is incorrect because $250 was a deposit and refunded. Yes I understand you are at the beach but showers are provided outside to rinse off sand and as a courtesy to other guests guests need to rinse off the sand before entering the condo. The cleaning crew doesn't have time to vacuum sand out of furniture and its not part of the cleaning fee so if they have to vacuum beds and couches then theres a charge but you weren't charged for this. Also sand turns to cement in the drains so I don't want several hundred dollars in plumbing expenses. The amount you paid was fair and the fees is what every condo charges and my fees are less than other condos. I do not make money on this condo so this is just to help pay expenses. I hope I have addressed all your issues. If I asked you to stand in front of the camera to verify your identity it must have been an issue with your id or credit card. I am only trying to make sure the person that is staying in the condo is the person that reserved it.

La pagina de Expedia claramente dice que contacte el dueno 3 horas antes de llegar porque no hay oficinas en el lugar. Esto me ayuda a no tener estos tipos de problemas con gente que no han rentado un condominio. Le dije al senor que podia pagar con su tarjeta de credito por medio de Paypal, un servicio bien conocido en Mexico. Todos los costos estan claramente desplegados en la pagina incluyendo el costo de la limpieza. Este condominio esta grande 4 veces el tamano de un hotel con dos recamaras y dos banos. El costo de la limpieza esta competitivo con los otros condominios. Yo mando la factura de Paypal y se puede pagar cuando Ud quiere, solo que me toma tiempo de hacer el contrato, el codido para la puerta, entonces le adverti que mejor lo pagaria antes de llegar porque me iba a tardar como una hora y no queria que estuviera esperando en el estacionamiento. Lo Siento mucho si no estaba de acuerdo pero solo trate de hacer el check in mas comodo y no tener que esperar cuando llegara.
