Rooms were fine for what I was looking for, just a place to sleep for two nights. I booked two rooms. One had a backed up toilet. Both rooms just needed a real cleaning. Handprints etc were on all the doors. Otherwise location is good and person that checked us in was very nice.

I was very impressed by the kind attention paid to me by the manager, who upgraded my room and showed me to the cottage and parking place. The room and bathroom were clean. The bathroom window showed a little wear and tear, but it wasn't a big deal. While the motel might not be as fancy as other places, it makes up for it in location and charm of the staff.

the family that runs this seems nice and the sheets were clean but i’ll write our experience and you make your own conclusions. Arrived planning cheap overnight for a wedding - we needed a clean bathroom and bed and nothing else. Checked in - super basic room - not closet or place to hang clothes or usable mirror except the small over the sink one - ok it’s a cheap room - dh walks into shower area and comes out literally holding the handle of the shower - just came right off so that tells me they didn’t really clean the shower either you could not have kissed this it was just perched vaguely in its spot . we switch to the room next door - shower works but still not great - needed paint desperately or at least to have to door wiped down it was filthy Structured was the light switch area - no one has done anything but it is constantly touched by guests and never cleaned it was ten shades darker from the dirt - just left me feeling very much like nothing was really clean except the sheets

We (a couple) really had a perfect stay at Sea Haven over the Sept 13-14, 2025 weekend, and it will be our go-to place from now on when visiting the Hamptons -- which we will probably do more of now because Southampton is closer to NYC than most other Hamptons destinations and avoids all that one-lane traffic. The price was right and it was pet-friendly to the max with lots of room for dog Pancho to roam and chase his ball. Owner Omar and manager Bill could not have been nicer, with lots of spot-on recommendations for beach time, dining, etc. The cabin-like room and green, off-the-beaten path setting made for a very cozy ambience -- just what we were looking for. Southampton and environs themselves were also really a revelation for us. We're already planning out next weekend out there. So hats off to Omar, Bill and the Sea Haven Resort Motel!

Overall it could have been a nice place, however, it was a bit run down and not clean. We actually found a French fry in one of the drawers. The bed was very comfortable, but there were only pillows with shams on them, so they were a bit uncomfortable. The counter was held together with tape and the vinyl tiles in the bathroom were coming up. Not really happy for the price.

Not a bad place it just needs a deep cleaning and some tender loving care to really bring out the potential for Sea Haven Resort Motel. Other than that the management was very respectful and helpful. I can see this motel becoming a gleaming hidden gem with the proper care and maintenance.

An inexpensive, pet friendly, place to lay your he

We were looking for an inexpensive, pet friendly motel for the weekend, and this location fit the bill. It wasn't the most cleanly of places, but for what it was it wasn't bad. If you need a place to just lay your head, and aren't looking for luxury, this place could be good. They didn't clean the room during our stay, which really bothered us.

Friendly staff but the place needs to be cleaned better, kinda funky around the edges of the rooms. Also, there’s a kitchenette but no coffee, cups or glasses? No coffee in the main office? A small matter that would make a great improvement, just like other places to lodge. An ok place but could do better for the price.

This was a convenient place for me to spend a night when I was in a jam and too tired to drive any more. The manager Umar was exceptionally helpful. There was an issue with my billing…very long story…and I was double billed. Umar spent a lot time, hours, between texts, phone calls, and emails to make sure I was properly refunded. He didn’t have to do that.

I took several pictures, shame i cannot post on review. Place was filthy, rebuttals on previous bad reviews were lies, long dark hairs on sheets along with stains, dirty floors, curtains mounted backwords, no security bar lock or deadbolt on door. Used a chair in front of door. Tv worked, no coffeemaker, some units looked horrible outside, DEFF NOT A RESORT ! OFFICE GROSS.

Dirtiest hotel room I’ve ever been in. Long black hairs on the pillow, candy wrappers and Bobby pins on the floor. Fridge and microwave hadn’t been cleaned in ages. Scum in the tub. I stayed because it was late and I saw some of these items only in the morning, when I also noticed the missing smoke detector and someone else’s trash in a trash basket. On the plus side, water was hot and towels appeared clean.

The bed was clean and comfy. The bathroom and kitchenette were disgusting. The outside of the microwave was covered in sticky food. The toilet, shower and floor looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. I would never stay here again.
