“The Landing Hotel is a good basic hotel. The rooms are dated but clean and comfortable. The location is about 2 miles from downtown Ketchikan but convenient to grocery stores, the airport, float plane services and the Alaska Marine Hwy Ferry. The diner in the hotel provides hearty breakfast options. ”

“Unique experience. A look at old Alaska and Juneau. I enjoyed it. Not a place for people with mobility issues for sure. The only down side wasn’t the hotel but the numerous cruise ships. Plan to do things as early as possible to avoid the crowds in the afternoon. Unless you like crowds.”

“I liked the room having a kitchen and laundry. We saved money by cooking our own meals and doing our own laundry. It was within walkable distance of town. I loved the little park with the whale statue and the boardwalk path. Staff was friendly and would get us extra supplies as needed. There was free transportation to the airport. It was a very comfortable stay!”
