“We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was spotless. This hotel is amazing value for being right on the strip walking distance to everything in Carmel-by-the-sea. The only thing about the room that wasn’t ideal was the fact there was no AC. Expected in older places by the ocean, it was warmer this weekend. No points off for this. Just wanted other people to be aware. The breakfast was lacking. Luckily there were lots of outside options. Minus one star for that. Parking can be challenging too....

“Room was clean but worn, restaurant closed all of our stay for private events including breakfast which was not told to us in advance. No coffee in room and they gave us ADA room which we didn’t want or ask for. I find those rooms depressing. Would not go back.”

“The whole atmosphere was great, relaxing, quiet and quaint.. loved the cottages. We plan on a return trip. easy drive into Carmel for shopping and restaurants..”

“The room was clean, staff is very friendly! The breakfast was mid, only had bagels, cereal, breads, and yogurt. Pool was closed but we only went for the beaches and hiking!”
