We stayed here for the Monterey Half Marathon and it was a good price and walkable to the starting point. Also walkable to the restaurants, so we appreciated that. We didn't stay long enough to enjoy the property fully but they did serve breakfast and had happy hour.

Highly recommend! Super comfy bedding, quality toiletries, extremely clean. The breakfast selection changed a little everyday and was average - it included scrambled eggs, yogurt, oatmeal, bagels, fresh fruit. Some days they added sausage, hash brown potatoes and pancakes. Of course many juices, a variety of milks, coffees and teas. The bar was well stocked too. Walkable area and very safe area.

The hotel was centrally located and convenient to all the major attractions. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. The staff was absolutely fantastic—friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Breakfast was good as well. Overall, it was a great stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Abrego! We got a great price and loved our room, which included a fireplace and patio. The free breakfast was a huge plus and especially helpful on mornings when we had early excursions planned. The complimentary glass of wine each evening was also such a pleasant bonus! We were thrilled that our room was ready at 2:00 p.m., allowing us to check in early, and we were also able to get a 1:00 p.m. checkout, which we really appreciated. Between the great value, comfortable room, convenient amenities, and excellent service, Hotel Abrego has definitely become our go-to hotel in Monterey. We had a great experience and will absolutely be back!

The pool was shut when we visited and were told it’s u see renovation until a few days. The shower had hot and cold water fluctuations so for a person needing a hot bath, that was a bummer. We were upgraded to a room with fireplace which was nice!

We love this hotel. It's within walking distance to Alvarado Street and other shops/restaurants, the rooms are always clean and a noon checkout time is such a bonus. The staff is always polite and helpful. We've never had a bad stay. The pool was cold this time and the lock is very janky, however My key wouldn't work and neither would the maintenance guy's, but he was great and got the gate open.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The staff was friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. Special thanks to Suheib and Marquis for being so welcoming and helpful. The continental breakfast was nice every morning, and the grounds were very clean and well-kept. We also appreciated having a gym easily accessible during our stay. The location is ideal and made getting around so easy. We’ll definitely be returning.
