I arrived here after midnight after the lobby is closed. After 3 hours travel. To find that the toilet was not working. We had to use a trash can to dump water into tank for it to flush. I called the lobby and was told theyโd send someone in the morning. The next AM, I checked in with front desk and was told the toilet would be fixed while we were out for the day. I called around 4:45 pm to confirm it was fixed and I was told it was โworkingโ. We arrived at 8 pm- to find it was still not flushing. The front desk mgr came to inspect and determined that it was broken. Telling me someone would come THE NEXT DAY to fix it. And showed me a way to jimmyrig it by turning the water line on/off. I was not happy. I expressed that they had been given ALL day to make sure this was fixed and I didnโt care to jimmyrig the toilet. This is not what I paid for. I demanded my money back or another room. They said they were sold out. And could not make that decision. I asked for the owners contact information and they said they would reach out. But not to expect a response on a weekend. Finally on the 3rd night all was in working order. I donโt think itโs fair that I had to pay for a room with non working facilities. I have a family with a young children and the toilet is a basic necessity. The mgmt was very kind and understanding but I need answers and remedy. They were given a chance to fix it and failed leaving us high and dry
