Rooms were clean, breakfast was great. Within walking distance of wharf, beach and park. Issue with microwave not working was resolved and microwave replaced within 10 minutes. Property is older and some elevators were not working but it was clean and comfortable. Would stay again.

Good breakfast options and the fireplace and living room area in the rooms were cute. Walking access to downtown and the wharf was great! My main complaint was the noise. The design of the room with the bed being arranged against the wall to the outside of the room near the front door: the hallways were tile/cobblestone so every time someone came by in the night with a suitcase or housekeeping with the laundry bin (which seemed often) it echoed and caused loud clattering.

Spacious and clean rooms. Very helpful and friendly front desk staff. Walking distance to the Monterey old fisherman’s wharf restaurants and shops.parking spaces are tight, directional signage to rooms inadequate. Breakfast is so so. I’d recommend this hotel for its ch location and room quality and front desk staff. Drive a compact car or a small SUV, easier to park. Ask front desk to highlight on the property map the route to find your room at check in
