A beautiful corner of Germany: not touristy - just fabulous.
A Hühnergott (adder stone also called "hag stone", "witch stone" or "serpent's egg" in English) is a stone with a naturally occurring hole through it. These stones can be found along Rügen's Baltic Sea coast. They are said to have magical powers. We found a bunch of them below the Königsstuhl in the Jasmund National Park. Try your luck and try to find your own lucky charm!
The Pier in Sellin on the island of Rügen in the Baltic See. Rügen is a great weekend destination from Berlin, less than a 4 hours drive away. Sellin is a small resort town with a beautiful white sand beach and pretty architecture.
