“Great location, exceptional staff, wonderful experience! The El Moore Lodge is a gem located in mid-town Detroit with lots of fun and interesting discoveries nearby. Best part of my stay was breakfast in the parlor meeting folks who were not in a hurry, spending time talking about everything Detroit.”

I stayed in the neverland themed room that had such wonderful little details throughout that was a treat to explore. The breakfast was delicious and the set up with service felt like out of a movie. Dora and Ed are wonder hosts who definitely went above and beyond for our meager overnight stay. The room was clean, the property was so peaceful. Helped my wife and I start out with a slow relaxing morning before making our way to downtown Detroit. Can’t recommend this enough to people who don’t mind a bed and breakfast. The inn keepers were very helpful and accommodating; they prepared a wonderful to go breakfast complete with snacks for our travels when they learned we had to depart early to catch our flight. The room and bed were very comfortable; best night’s sleep in a very long time. Highly recommend and really hope to come back and stay. ”
