"The room: Musty, peeling vinyl headboard, not super clean, dated, no sheer curtains, flickering bathroom lights. Security: Did not feel safe. I noted that none of the exterior doors were locked down. This made me extremely nervous as a solo, female traveler. The outdoor spa near the lodge isn’t well lit and while I was in the spa alone I felt ok but as soon as someone else joined me, I didn’t feel safe to stay. Amenities: I did use the resort pool with my local family which was very nice! The staff that I engaged with were lovely and helpful!"

"When we arrived we had a person ready to take out bags up to our rooms. We walked up to the front desk and they already had everything ready for us (Gate person called in as we drove up the drive). Staff was friendly, the grounds were nicely kept. It was fun to walk along the golf course pathways at night. The gym was a good sized gym. I wish the cafe in the lobby was open in the morning but understand it's off season. "

"This was a great place to stay. We will be back! The only issue was that the restaurant kitchen seemed short staffed and they turned us away for a 6pm dinner. They told us the kitchen requested time to “catch up” since they had a large group in the lounge. It was a disappointment. But breakfast the next morning was excellent! So maybe it was just an off day. "
