"Overall was a very nice place. My rating of 4 stars in a couple of categories was due to smoking allowed on property. And it was a problem with smoking lingering in walkways and entrances that we had to use. Staff was friendly and helpful. "

"Green Gabels is the place to stay in Branson! It’s affordable, clean, comfortable and centrally located. We had to turn our one night get away into two nights on Memorial Day weekend. Sadly Green Gabels was full for the second night and our second hotel should be shut down. "

"The front desk staff was wonderful. The room was very clean. New sheets, bathroom very clean, bed was firm and comfortable. The only bad thing is there is no do not disturb sign. The cleaning staff does not know if guest wishes to sleep in or not. They knock and wake the guest. "

"Like many other older motels in Branson, the rooms are accessed outside; no interior hallways. But the property is in good condition, very clean and comfortable, and quiet. A nice treat was the delicious cobblers and cookies every night. The room costs are decent, particularly for a motel with really good ratings. "

"Pleasantly surprised! Outside looks average, but inside the room is great! We had 2 beds, a couch with pullout bed, a kitchenette, and plenty of towels. Very comfortable. The pullout bed was made up too. They did a nice job with renovations. We were on the back side, so we could hear some street noise which didn't deter our sleep at all. Staff was very nice and helpful, even at a midnight check-in. Breakfast was OK. "

"This is a property that is being updated. There was no gross old carpet, the flooring was beautiful wood-looking vinyl flooring. There was a new mattress that was very comfortable. The sink and makeup area had a beautiful lighted mirror. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend it!!"

"There isn't an elevator, so i had to get a 1st floor room. Did not want to carry my luggage up the stairs. Room was ok. Had a smell to it, though. "

"The staff was very nice, the resort is very dated, needs new carpeting updated tvs and phones. Some of the resort was nice clean and other parts looked run down. Definitely need to rent a golf cart as it is spread out. Lake view and patio was nice. Price was good, photos on line are not accurate over all ok place to stay."
