โWhat a beautiful place to stay. We enjoyed the grounds and the ambiance of the main house. Our room was in the carriage house and it was cozy and nicely appointed with various musical instruments, reminiscent of the man for which this room was named.

โThe staff there is EXCELLENT, the front desk clerk work efficiently with Expedia to get me in a room at 1130pm after another hotel gave my room away due to my late flight arrival, and Seth the food and bar service attendant was GREAT also, very attentive but not overwhelming. Great hotel to stay at, it's definitely on my list to refer my friends, family and co-workers to stay at when in Springfield. โ
โWe stayed at University Plaza Hotel every time we come through Springfield. It's wonderful to have a hotel downtown. The fitness room is always great and the location is perfect. We always end our evening with a walk to Tie & Timber Beer Co.โ

โI booked this hotel for my dad and step-mother and I spoke with the staff on two occasions to try to get an early check in. Both times, the staff were so nice and professional. My dad had nothing but good things to say about this hotel- quiet and safe neighborhood, great areas to chat with friends while he was in town, and clean! Right next to a grocery store as well which can be handy. Will be reserving a room here for myself or family in the future!โ
