“I was in line for over 40 minutes to check in. When I finally got a key, it was to a room that already had other people's luggage in it and slept in beds. There was no coffee in the morning. Most of the ice and snack machines had signs that stated they were out of order. When I tried to call the front desk to request two additional wash clothes (three occupants, only one wash cloth in the room), there was no answer. I had to go to the front desk to get them. “Staff were pleasant and the property was clean. One thing I that I found is a huge cockroach inside one of the kitchen drawers in the kitchen. I was very disappointed and disgusted. Also, they didn’t even try to give me a discount on the room or nothing m. This will be my last ever make a reservation there. I would send you a picture of the cockroach that I found in the drawer, but there is no way I can send it, but I did send to phone number the front desk gave me.”

“Wow, this place is just lovely. We stayed in the lodge -- very clean, comfortable, and we just loved the historical setting and the vintage photos in the hallways, etc. Lake is beautiful and peaceful. Lovely stay overall.”

“Completely remodeled inside and out. Quiet and safe. Bathroom has a large shower with rain shower head. One can also get a soak in the hot springs.”
