The lady working there was very busy, but still very welcoming and friendly, she gave me a free drink on arrival and offered me a bottle of water on departure, and the room was cosy and comfortable. And the view from the balcony really was incredible - they're not lying when they say they have the best view in Spiez!

Great location, around lots to do in walking distance. The room and hotel was very cute, however, this could have been a better experience. There was an annual festival happening the night we stayed and the hotel didn't bother to inform us until the day of. I confirmed parking when booking 3 months prior, but when we arrived, there was no direct parking due to the festival. It was also very loud until almost 2am and we didn't get much sleep. This could have been handled better and a heads up or some ear plugs would have been nice.

Hidden gem

There was a little confusion about checking in. We arrive late and the staff already left for the date. Our Apartment was in the separate building away from the main building. There was no elevator in that building. The staff was nice enough to come back and carry the suitcase for us since we live on the top floor of the building with no elevator. The room is huge and clean.

Nice hotel. Conveniently located. The spaces were very clean. Within walking distance you will find many good dining options. Breakfast was ok, but nothing exceptional. As a guest you will receive access pass to a fitness facility located in a building a couple of meters down the road. The staff was friendly.

Fantastic stay at Hotel La Belle Vue

Hotel La Belle Vue is so lovely. The service I have received from Andrea and Lucia has been outstanding! I also received information about hikes in the area from Noa, which has been very helpful. I had lunch in the restaurant, and the food was delicious. Everyone is very attentive, and I can’t say enough about the entire staff: Andra, Lucia, Noa n Jon make it a very welcoming atmosphere.

Lovely hotel in Spietz!

La Bellevue is such a lovely hotel. I arrived yesterday and was warmly greeted by Lucia and Andrea. They both were extremely helpful, and their customer service is truly outstanding. Andrea made dinner reservations for me, and the food was amazing. The view from the hotel is lovely, and they have a rooftop bar. Lucia brought me a welcome drink. I am so happy at this lovely hotel.

The hotel itself was excellent. It gave us amazing scenary from the hotel, within walking distance to the lake. The only but big problem was when checking in. I arrived shortly after 6pm, and the reception, entrance door was closed. The note at the door sent they have sent a password to me by email, to unlock the entrance door. However, I have not received it and needed to call the number indicated in the note to get a guidance on how to unlock. It was stressful and as I am from outside EU, it cost me not a cheap amount as it was an international telephone call.

Large bright apartment.

We had a nice time in Spiez. The apartment is spacious, bright, and clean. We did have a few issues: on checkin we were told we could decide in the morning about opting in to the hotel guest breakfast package or ordering a la carte, but in the morning we were told that was not an option. We had no soap in either shower even after asking. There were no dark curtains or shades so the rooms were incredible bright very early. One of the beds didn’t have pillows or duvet but we worked it out by moving them from another bed. We had an issue with a bathroom door that didn’t work properly and had a key so my son got locked in for a bit which was unsettling but he figured it out. Overall the staff did not make us feel valued or important, but we appreciated the space and the location.

Very nice design boutique hotel with nice breakfast, walking distance to the train station. My only dislike is the sound proofing as the customer above my floor was walking about all the way till 1am and again by 7am. Because of the wooden flooring one can hear the aound clearly. Should carpet it to reduce the sound.
