This is a delightful old home which has been a Bed and Breakfast since 1987. I loved the wraparound porch. Room was spacious enough. Breakfast was nice: yogurt w granola and fresh fruit; croissant; 7-minute boiled eggs...same each day. I wanted to use the croquet set but we never quite got to it. Some reviews mentioned a problem with the shared bathroom if you choose one of those two rooms. I thought it was fine. Everyone was considerate. However, if you are traveling alone I wouldn't recommend staying in a room without its own bathroom because it is, indeed, an old house that is not heavily populated, and that could seem spooky if you have to leave your room to use the bathroom/shower at night. There is street noise from the Garden Room, but turning on the wall unit A/C was plenty for covering it up, as another reviewer helpfully suggested.

We chose the Blue room, and it was lovely! Very comfortable, and we enjoyed the decoration. I was hesitant to reserve, as it was our first B&B, but I am glad we did! I felt comfortable throughout, enjoyed the feel of being in a home. Breakfast was on time, and was perfect . Coffee was really good. We plan on returning in the future. Plus, it is close to all kinds of great food and colleges, as we were there to watch football.

This historic house was simply beautiful, and the stay was so quiet that I doubt we can ever stay elsewhere in Spokane again. The location was central with easy access to parks and downtown.

Wonderful old-fashioned mansion. Floor to ceiling fabric curtains with liners on all four windows. Gigantic brass framed mirror. Busy little suburb street outside, but nobody’s honking. Can’t wait for breakfast at the bed and breakfast.

Perfect weekend away

This was such a beautiful relaxing stay everything about it was perfect for us as a couple. We are huge fans of bed and breakfasts and we kind of go around everywhere looking for new ones to try. This will be one that we visit again and again. It was clean especially for being such an older place usually we stay in old places and you'll find dust in different random places but not here I highly recommend!

Had a lovely stay in the Ivy room. The room was clean and charming, but the highlight was the original huge (over 6ft) claw foot tub. The bed was also very comfortable. Was a wonderful B&B. Quiet and in a nice neighborhood. Checking was virtual and room was beautiful. Couldn’t hear anyone else who stayed minus when they came up the stairs. The house was gorgeous inside and the porch outside was nice to sit at. Will definitely come back here and stay again
