“We stayed at Alkyon Hotel for 3 nights before travelling on to Skopelos and I couldn’t recommend this hotel more! It was so convenient being 5 minutes drive from the airport and on the sea front. It was less than 5 minutes walk from the main strip of restaurants along the front of the port but slightly out of the main town area so was quiet at night. “We had the most amazing stay at Evlalia Studios & Villas! We stayed in Villa Nefelli and it was a 2 bedroom suite with a little kitchen, private little pool and hammock. The staff was beyond amazing and super friendly. Ernestest, the manager made sure we had an excellent stay. George, the owner, was super personable and welcoming. “Lots and lots of steps and ramps. Not a hotel for someone who needs extra help to get around Golf carts help but it still not to the beach. Beach is beautiful but small. “Pool was closed, even the water fountain was turned off. Our bathroom door handle was broken. The bed was uncomfortable, they only gave us one pillow each so we needed two more which they did provide. The headboard was very uncomfortable. The shower was one you had to hold to use as they didn't have a fixture on the wall. Only hand soap, no shampoos or shower gel provided. No breakfast.
