“Modern facilities with old-fashioned charm. The rooms are a good size; we had a view of the garden which was very pleasant. All the staff were cheerful and helpful. The restaurant for breakfast and dinner is decked out in crisp white table cloths with smartly dressed waiters. Both the garden bar and the terrace at the front of the hotel with beautiful views across the bay are both lovely places to enjoy a drink. The outdoor pool looked good though we didn't use it. “The hotel was very clean and well maintained. Our room was the same and the mattress provided a very comfortable nights sleep which doesn’t happen at a lot of hotels. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of food and the breakfast room is very comfortable and enjoyable. The staff all around the hotel particularly on reception are also excellent. I would highly recommend the Savoy to anyone. We have already booked for next year!”

The window was very small and only opened a few inches. We asked again 2 days later and were given another fan. However, it just blew the hot air around very noisily.
