โRooms have comfortable bedding and very clean. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion and soap are good quality. Coffee is good and options are oat milk, creamer, milk. Easy to walk to Clarkson. Continental breakfast of cereal, toast, peanut butter, jelly, bagels, apples and bananas.โ

โOur room was large and comfortable. The parking lot was also spacious and offered easy access to the facility. The staff was friendly and helpful. Downtown Potsdam, where the hotel is located, is largely deserted, with empty storefronts in most of the historic buildings. โMy sister and I stayed 3 nights at Northern Family Motel. The motel room was on the small side, but had a queen bed which was very comfortable. The owners were friendly and pleasant to deal with. We would stay there again as it was convenient to what we needed to do in the area. However, the AC unit was quite noisy, so we used the fan option which was much quieter. All in all a pleasant stay.โ

โThe Scottish Inn used to be a run-down and poorly-maintained mom-and-pop motel called The Nomad. The current owners have completely overhauled and modernized the establishment.
