โThe staff were welcoming, very helpful & friendly. Our room was clean, comfortable and looked like it had recently been refurbished. We had everything we needed & even some shortbread with our tea tray, a lovely extra touch!
We ate in the bar & again both the food & service were excellent. I cannot rate our stay highly enough & we are looking forward to returning next year & using it as our base for Burghley Horse Trials. Thank you ๐โ

โCheap hotel but does the job. We needed an over night stay and it does the job. One of our other parties had a room that smelt a drainy but they moved her straight away when we went back to the guy on reception who had checked us in. Staff are polite so can't fault it. Nice spacious room and comfy bedโ

โ This is a wonderful B&B tucked away in the Northamptonshire village of Brigstock. We stayed in The Willow room for 2 nights. The room has a super comfy king size bed, with that home from home feeling. The roll top bath and walk in shower was a pleasant surprise! Sam was the most gracious host, her attention to detail, super breakfast choices, and cookie treats in our room.
We will most definitely be back to Swallows Rest on our next UK visit, and have no hesitation in recommending a stay here.โ
โExtremely friendly receptionist and itโs so nice to be accompanied to your room rather than be left alone .
The hotel rooms are quite quirky with antique furnishings and our room had an oriental/ Asian flavourโฆperhaps some artwork over the bed would have made the room more appealing.The bed and shower were great and extremely hot water so that is a bonus.
We walked to visit Burghley house which is located behind the inn and is a must see.
