“We had a lovely stay at the Royal Oak. Hannah was extremely helpful and was quick to respond when i accidentally deleted the message with the keycode! The room was extremely comfortable and clean. We had a superb meal in the pub, and the staff were very friendly. The room was peaceful and quiet, and we enjoyed the views and a glorious sunset. Im an early riser, and i spend some time identifying the birds in the location. Even a chicken popped in to say hello! My partner is diabetic and though...

“A good stay at an atmospheric late 16c traditional English Inn . Rooms comfortable with good modern en suite . Log fires in the bar and a carved wood panelled dining room. The beer ,the food (traditional pub fayre)and service was wonderful. The breakfast was great with ample choice of cooked and continental on offer. Helen the manageress was welcoming and most efficient . She managed the property very well indeed. We couldn’t hope for more and would definitely stay again .”

“Our first time at The Green Man and we will be returning. Had a great time, accommodation and food excellent. They also have a wonderful front of house called Amanda who was great fun and extremally helpful.”

“Super accommodation. The staff are ultra attentive and the food is first class. Beautiful part of the world to stay in but maybe a little remote for some. Only slight drawback was we were housed in the ground floor room of the boathouse and the noise of people walking around in the room above is very loud. If they got up in the night it wakes you up.”

“Beautiful place, with excellent staff. We were unluckily because they celebrate weddings and we arrive with a wedding on-going. The music was fine (not too loud) the guest were fine, normal noise for a wedding. The kids fron the wedding were under our window, playing shouting and screaming (normal for kids) but it was very late night and very early morninig so we did not have too much rest. We will come back but we will make sure is not a wedding day.”
