"Do not attempt to walk there from the train station. Despite the short distance, it is a high elevation road uphill. Taxi cost about CHF20. Check in was easy. Very welcoming and helpful. Passage to the room can be adventurous given the pathway and small lift. Fun! Room is nicely decorated with an amazing view, lovely bathroom and a balcony. Do note that there is no phone in the room. "Wonderful hotel to stay at in St. Moritz. It is on the edge of the city, but honestly the city is not that big. It is about a 20 minute walk from the train station (or you could take the public bus). The staff were very friendly. The hotel restaurant was very good, although the "dinner" times were a bit confusing. Dinner goes from 7-9pm. But we couldnt figure out if we were supposed to be at the table at 7 or could arrive later. The town is quiet in the summer and dining options were not...
