"The pub was busy and bustling, yet welcoming. Olivia greeted us, smiling and friendly. She was informative and nothing was too much trouble. She gave a really good first impression of the place Breakfast was excellent (Full English and Eggs Benedict). We were once again served by the lovely Olivia. Our room was small but the bathroom was spacious. Although the view was not one to write home about, the room itself (Room 5) served our needs for one night - very comfortable bed. Fans were provided for the hot weather. Parking was free. We would definitely recommend and return."

"I love staying here before a flight and also on my return from a long haul. Love that you now get an email to say your room is ready even before time. Big comfy clean bed and spacious too. Only complaint is not enough of those delicious biscuits on the hospitality tray haha"

"The hotel is essentially a leisure complex. The rooms clean and tidy but for a family four small. I was surprised to discover considering the age of the property there was no AC. We were offered fans which were barely adequate. There are no lifts in the property and manhandling 6 suitcases was a challenge. Good onsite parking. The standout of the visit was the staff. Excellent. Also the food was surprisingly good and reasonably priced"

"Our room was spotlessly clean. Nothing that anyone can do in a heatwave to keep it cool, but there was a fan and plenty of water for a cold shower. Staff were pleasant and helpful, breakfast plentiful and varied."
