Good afternoon, Misty. We apologized about the lack of a pool during your stay. Unfortunately, that was caused by the hurricane that we experienced but was luckily the only damage that we sustained. We are doing absolutely everything that we can to get that back up and running. In the meantime we do have the wonderful and crystal clear pool very close by at the Plaza Beach Hotel for guest use. We hope that you will come back to see us in the future when that issue has been resolved.

I understand it can seem to be a lot for those who are not used to being in a high tourist area such as St. Pete Beach, but it is all for the guests' safety and enjoyment. The wristband system is a collaboration between the major resorts on St. Pete Beach and the Sheriff's department to protect the safety of traveler's from those who are not permitted to be at the resort. In addition to that, it helps us provide you with an exclusive experience. St Pete Beach is one of the most visited beaches in the country. If wristbands weren't required, the amenities would be so crowded by those who have not paid to use them - those who have paid for them would have their experience diminished. I do thank you again for your feedback and just want to stress that the protocol is for you; your experience and your safety.

It seems like you actually stayed at our sister hotel Bay Palms Waterfront Resort. Yes the check-in location is at the Plaza Beach Hotel which is about 100 yards north of the hotel you stayed at, that is posted under our Policies prior to booking, as well as in the confirmation email after you make your reservation. Most people enjoy our "Stay and 1, Play at all 3" offer as it allows everyone access to the same amenities - but I see here you did not.
