We truly enjoyed our stay at the Village Inn—it’s definitely a hidden gem! The hospitality was warm and welcoming, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Our room was recently renovated, and the amenities were absolutely on par with its class—clean, updated, and thoughtfully appointed.
Although we had booked a deluxe king room with a veranda and were given a standard room instead, we didn’t mind since it was just a one-night stay over the busy 4th of July weekend.
I was initially concerned about the room’s location near the bar and band area, thinking it might be noisy, but I was pleasantly surprised—once we were inside, it was quiet and peaceful. We also met so many wonderful people at the bar, most of them locals who made us feel right at home with their southern hospitality. The pub truly was the place to be—lively, friendly, and full of great energy.
A special shout-out to Evelyn, the hotel manager, who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. They gave us fantastic recommendations for local eats and events, which made our stay even more memorable.
Overall, our experience was amazing, and we’ll definitely be back!
