The property as a whole was in good condition and clean, but the bathroom in our room was covered in hair on the floor and not clean at all. Really disgusting.

Loved the pool and hot tub and the hours were great. You could swim and utilize the hot tub until 10:30! Our room was clean and had a jacuzzi right in our bedroom! The breakfast was excellent in the morning too! Would stay again!

Hotel and rooms were nice and clean. Staff were helpful and nice. Pool was dirty but still ok. Overall very nice stay.

Loved the easy access to everything around us from food to entertainment. Easy walk to the coliseum if you’re in the city for a show. La Bamba restaurant - 5 minute walk is a MUST.

We enjoyed our one night stay over a ski mini vacation. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was close to two ski resorts. My two grandsons loved the pool and hot tub. We plan to return next ski season.

Room clean, staff polite, breakfast good but the employees were not cleaning off tables at breakfast- the patrons were. They need to clean the tables and chairs. Also gym was small and tv remotes don’t work. Also they need to clean all the dirt and dust under the treadmill. When you lay on the mat, you see it and breathe it.

This is a great hotel that really has some character and really nice staff. You can find cheaper in the area, but if you can spare a little extra I think this hotel is worth it. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is very limited healthy choice for breakfast (adding yogurt and some fruit would fix this) and the hot tub is more like a luke warm tub. I actually got cold sitting in it.

I booked a 3-day stay at this property via Expedia. Little that I knew, my daughter would get covid and we would be unable to go. I contacted the hotel 3 days prior to my stay (via messaging platform of Expedia) to see if dates can be changed given this; no response for 2 days. I then contacted the hotel directly and got bounced back to Expedia via an unfriendly front office person at the property who told me that she just got back, saw my message(after 2 days), there is nothing they can do, and I should take it up with Expedia. Expedia also made several attempts to discuss/resolve the issue, but they went unanswered until the last minute (check-in day). After 3 days of initial contact, I was told that the hotel refused to make any changes. I was surprised by this kind of (lack of) response/service and was disappointed by the attitude and lack of flexibility, given the positive ratings.. yes it was a non-refundable rate and I had all the intentions/desire to be there, but just couldn't due to sickness. Allowing a customer to move dates by 2 weeks would have resulted in a positive customer experience, but this property does not seem to care about that. Will exclude Holiday Inn Express as a brand name from my future bookings, going forward.

I was going to Seven Springs ski resort for a weekend trip and this hotel was a great place to stay. It was about 15 minutes from the ski resort and there was a ski rental place 2 minutes away that had cheaper rentals than the resort. Super convenient hotel! My only issue was that the hotel’s quiet hours start at 11 PM. My friends and I were playing music from our bedroom at 10 PM and the volume was a bit high. We received a phone call from the receptionist saying that we got a complaint for being too loud and to lower down the volume. It was my understanding that we were well within the range where we did not have to be as quiet. I apologized and said that we would lower down the volume. Not even one minute later we received another phone call stating that we need to lower the music volume and if we got another complaint, then they would have to kick us out. I thought that was extreme given that we had just received our first warning a few moments ago. We turned off the music completely. Not too satisfied with that experience especially since quiet hours did not start until 11 PM. I completely understand if the music is too loud and to lower the volume but to also threaten expulsion is a little extreme.

Perfect for a family ski weekend
Our family stayed here, in two adjoining rooms, for a weekend ski trip at Seven Springs. The hotel has a bit of a lodge vibe with the decor and taxidermy in the lobby. The service was friendly, the property was clean, and the rooms were comfortable. Breakfast is pretty good, and attendants kept it well stocked and spotless. Overall great value for the price.

The manager was wonderful. The hotel was spotless. Every part of it was so clean and decorated beautifully. The breakfast room was very clean and a great breakfast. Our room was very spacious and very clean!

We picked this hotel for the option of a pool/hot tub. Hotel has been beautifully renovated, very clean and offers a wonderful breakfast. Unfortunately the hot tub was not hot during our stay, so we did not get to enjoy it. Beware of adjoining rooms… there is no threshold on the bottom and you hear everything the other room does.
