This is an older motel that has had some paint and basic maintenance. It’s not a resort or a big Steamboat hotel. It’s in a wonderful part of town for exploring on foot. There is some construction directly next door but we were in Steamboat to get out and see sights and hike. So we were gone most of each day and not there to hear it. Something I like about this hotel, but can't put my finger on it. Could be because it's very clean and the beds are very comfortable. Being a Holiday Inn, you don't expect much, but this hotel seems to hit the mark. It's a mile or so out of town, but close enough to not make it much of an issue. They also have a bar/restaurant on site. They serve cold beer and ok food. Good enough if you don't want to venture out of the hotel late in the day.
