"I stayed at this guest house recently and, unfortunately, had several disappointing issues during my stay. On the day of arrival, while we were downstairs for dinner after a long flight, the staff entered the room for turn-down service — and 1000 Rand went missing from my bag. Instead of taking the matter seriously, management simply offered me a drink as compensation, which felt dismissive and completely inadequate given the situation.

"We really enjoyed our stay at De Zalze Lodge, the housekeeping was top notch, the facilities were great, the breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly and kind. We chose a superior room where the amenities included in the room were of high quality and the space was just perfect for a little family. Highly recommended. "
