HI Aleida-Sorry this happened. We did notify hotel.com that the hotel would be closing for renovations back in July and notified all guests. Not sure where the miscommunication with your reservation happened, maybe the email went into a spam folder?Again sorry this happened, happy you were able to find other accommodations and we do hope to see you again when the hotel opens in this fall.

Someone is always available to assist with check-in all hours of the day. The room you booked was our economical basic room and is accurately described by both pictures and by the description on line and on our website. We hope you got out and enjoyed all Stowe had to offer and do, and were able to come back and have a good nights sleep in our comfy beds.

Thank you for your review. We also love that Town and Country sits on 10 Acres of property and is only 1 mile away from Downtown Main street, and easily walkable through our entrance to the reckpath.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that the noise from the neighbor was too loud. There usually quiet as the doors are closed. They also close at 12am so we are not sure what you were hearing at 2am. We do have other hotel rooms that are not on this side of the property that are not near this bar if we had known we could have moved your room.
