The hotel’s location is convenient close to both the train station and the old town, but the immediate area is a bit sketchy. Our room was on the first floor with some stairs and the elevator for this level was out of service. The room did not have a safe which was inconvenient. Breakfast was ok but not superb. Considering the price, this hotel is a budget friendly choice.

Victoria (staff) was very helpful and accommodating during our stay with our son and special needs. Rooms were clean with updated amenities. The triple room was a good size for 2 adults and a preteen - certainly for the price. It’s a short walking distance (8 min) to the very charming area of Petit France - and I mean charming! Breakfast was your standard continental buffet that would meet your start of the day needs.

ClapClap Hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff was genuinely welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable, making it a great base for exploring Strasbourg. The standout was the breakfast—fresh, varied, and exceptionally well prepared, with plenty of high-quality local options. One of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had during our trip. Excellent value, great atmosphere, and a place we’d happily stay at again.

Great hotel. Very conveniently located. Parking in the surrounding area was tricky, but luckily, we were returning our rental car anyway. Staff at the front desk had a great recommendation for a taxi company to help us continue our trip. Had dinner at The Tiger across the street - it was wonderful. Super clean and spacious.

We had a great room, a suite with two bedrooms. Room was clean and the location of the hotel is great! But the air conditioning was awful. It didn’t work at all, plus it was so loud it was hard to sleep. The pillows were uncomfortable. But, are you a vacationer or a traveller? If you can have some discomfort for the sake of a good price and location then it’s a good option.

The hotel is nice, but the distribution almost feels like a maze with stairs. Our room had some door knobs falling off. The parking is ok, but definitely impossible with large vans and staff don't help to find options. They offer a tasty breakfast and some free popcorn
