“The property is in a great location with easy access by public transport from the airport. The staff were friendly and professional. Breakfast was excellent and the free bottled water a bonus. A couple of gripes though the ensuite was very small and needs some TLC the tiles and shower need replacing and the toilet brush was not clean. Also we were only give one key this meant we had stopped stay together all the time. We also managed to lock ourselves out and had to wait nearly 2 hours fro staff...

“Best hotel on the Promenade. Elegant, dark wood, beautiful artwork. Clean rooms. Nice restaurant and bar. Claire, Tim & Tony run a top notch hotel. Love it. ❤️ Jack is an ace in the bar and restaurant 👌. Only slight 'complaint' I can imagine is, They should offer better pillows or different types, goose or foam would've been better than current pillows. Would highly recommend.”

“Well located hotel within five minutes walk of the ferry port. An old fashioned style B and B with seemingly new owners (Opul Group). Rooms are large but maybe a little in need of a refresh. Everything clean. Breakfast included which was surprisingly excellent. Buffet style but even catered for us as vegans which was amazingly welcome. Well located for the town centre, next door to wetherspoons which can be loud on a weekend, but no huge problem.”

“All staff friendly and attentive. Had Bed & Breakfast stay in room with an atrium balcony which I can highly recommend in hot weather, the water features on the first floor provides more natural air conditioning. Plus the sound of the water provides a calming ambience.”

“I went for business trip. So I didn't experienced the Casino and around of the Hotel. I think this hotel is good at for short travel. The room is clean, bathroom is convient for shower. Free Wifi can be used for 2 computer/room. However the eating included in dinner and breakfast in the hotel is normal.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at the George in Castletown. The staff are incredibly friendly. The breakfast was really extensive for a Pub stay and was fresh. The only letdown was that we had a standard double bed when we booked a king! We decided not to complain as the room was clean and tidy and we were only there for one night. Would recommend and would stay there again the place has character.”
