We stayed at Driftwood for 2 nights and it was a very well-kept property and incredibly close to the ferry (2min drive). You can hear the sosunds of the ferry horn as it docked. The curb appeal is nice as there is a lot of open grass area and the cottages themselves are very charming. The interior of the cottages are quite dated. There are shag carpets and older furniture. There were a few unpleasent musty smells emanating from under the sink and the bathroom ceiling had a few spiders and webs. They had clean towels, toilet paper and a bar of soap, so we brought our own shampoo, hair dryer and paper towels. Overall, it is what we expected at 3 stars. We didnt mind as we did not spend much time in the room. To put it in context, if you are seeking a low cost, no frills option, this could be a good choice.
