"I stayed at Unicoi State Park Lodge for one night while attending Oktoberfest in Helen, and it was a wonderful experience overall.
Upon arrival, the front desk staff was so helpful and thorough in explaining the property layout and check-in details. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful scenic view. The standout feature for us was the lodge’s shuttle service straight into downtown Helen, it made attending Oktoberfest stress-free without having to worry about parking or navigating back.
Tip for future guests: Your stay actually includes a pass to the state park! We ended up visiting and paying for entry to the state park before checking into the lodge, so keep that in mind if you plan to explore the park, check in or ask for your pass first to save a few dollars.
We didn't have time to explore the other lodge amenities since we spent most of our trip downtown, but we would definitely stay here again!"
